Effective Date: 18 September 2026
These terms apply to the Maarifaa Academic Alignment Program (MAAP) provided by Maarifaa Global Pvt Ltd.
1. Purpose
MAAP helps students understand areas of interest and explore academic pathways so students and parents can make more informed academic decisions. It is an educational assessment and decision-support service.
2. What MAAP Is Not
- Not a medical, clinical or psychological diagnosis.
- Not an admission or entrance examination.
- Not a guarantee of admission, scholarships, academic performance, employment or career success.
- Not a determination of a student's future or a compulsory academic or career path.
- Not intended to be the sole basis for major educational, financial or life decisions.
3. Responses and Results
Results are based on information and responses provided and the assessment methodology used by Maarifaa. They may include interest areas, academic alignment insights, academic exploration suggestions and related information. Accurate and thoughtful responses improve the usefulness of the assessment.
4. Interpretation
MAAP may be used with counselling, parent or teacher discussions and further research. A Career Teacher, counsellor or authorised local execution partner may help explain the information. Final academic and educational decisions remain with the student and/or parent or guardian, as applicable.
5. Personal Data
MAAP involves processing personal information and assessment responses. The Maarifaa Global Privacy Policy and any additional notice or consent provided at the assessment point apply.
6. MAAP Credits and Access
Where MAAP is provided through a school or institutional programme, access to MAAP is enabled through MAAP Credits purchased or allocated to the participating school.
One (1) MAAP Credit enables one eligible student to complete one (1) MAAP assessment and receive one (1) personalised MAAP student report.
A MAAP Credit is consumed when the applicable MAAP assessment is completed and the personalised report is generated.
MAAP Credits apply specifically to MAAP. They do not represent a separate student licence, subscription, ownership interest or transfer of rights in the Maarifaa Career Guidance System, platform, software, methodology, content or intellectual property.
7. School and Partner Delivery
MAAP may be delivered through schools or authorised local execution partners. Data and contractual arrangements may differ from direct access, and applicable notices and consents will be provided.
8. Intellectual Property
MAAP's name, structure, methodology, question design, scoring implementation, reports and content are owned by or licensed to Maarifaa, subject to applicable third-party rights. Users may use their personalised report for personal educational purposes but may not reproduce, resell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the assessment or its underlying implementation.
9. Theoretical Foundation
MAAP incorporates established vocational-interest principles, including Holland's RIASEC framework, as a foundational component of its assessment design. MAAP is Maarifaa's own educational assessment and academic decision-support implementation. It is not the Self-Directed Search (SDS), the O*NET Interest Profiler or any other third-party assessment product, and Maarifaa does not represent that it is affiliated with, endorsed by or an official representative of the developers or owners of those third-party products or materials.
